A Peek into the married Life – Enter the Dragon

Marriage - Proof that You're More Mature than You Think.

If you had already been successfully living single and independent before marriage you probably will be able to go through this with an ease.

But for those of you who had been dependent on their parents like me before marriage.

After the honeymoon phase is over brace yourselves to meet the Inevitable that will happen.

After you’re perfectly happy in a long term relationship.

Marching ahead with the same support system for years now.

By this point you know who your real friends are.

You’re married!

This marks the beginning of being R.E.S.P.O.N.S.I.B.L.E.

You have a full time job that you actually enjoy. (Poor Boys!)

No more long hours for minimum wage!

No more changing and flipping jobs.

No more of being a rolling stone who gathers no moss.

You have a balanced check book.

No more reckless Shopping!

As you care about having good credit.

You ask for practical gifts.

A new frying pan. New tires.

Now you know that

If you don’t do laundry, you’ll have nothing to wear.

And you haven’t dyed any of your white clothes pink in forever!

(The initial months my hubby worn pink colored Vests!)

Now you head straight to the grocery store and stock up on healthy items.

No more Window Shopping and less visits to Clothing and Make-up Section

And if you don’t go to the supermarket, you may starve.

You probably also have a weekly shopping list you use!

In the Beginning

Trying out a new recipe.

Failing miserably and ordering takeout.

Finally

You can cook a meal from scratch.

Not Easy Ready to Eat (Mc Cain)! Real food!

And you try to eat healthy meals.

Your bowels will thank you!

If you don’t do the dishes they will never get done.

Love is truly tested here

May I suggest paper plates?

You can no longer do this.

your wife will probably kill you if she missed out on her daily soaps Or no longer chat or call..

You have to pay for rent.

And cable…

And Internet…

And your cell phone bill.

So that’s where all of the paychecks go…

Taking an awesome road trip with your friends without your spouse.

is now only in your dreams.

You have a real relationship with your parents.

You call them to chat and actually share things about your personal life with them.

Mom-in-laws are always right!

You’re perfectly content staying in on the weekend.

You’re genuinely proud of who you are.

You’ve accomplished a lot and you’re responsible!

And now that you are thinking about starting a family?
